Give & Take Day Of Service Activity Sept 17th 2011

As a Relief Society Presidency we chose to serve the Primary girls in our ward. Each girl was able to choose a t-shirt and fabric for a dress to be made especially for her. Members of the Relief Society volunteered to sew the dresses. Look at how adorable they turned out !

There is not too much to announce.......

Book Club will be the 3rd Thursday...The place has not yet been decided and the book is the Book Thief!  If you would like to host this at your house please contact Brooke.

We will be having a Christmas Giving Tree.  Look for the Tree in the next couple of weeks.

All activities planned at Michelle's will be discontinued until further Notice.

The Christmas Party is December 3rd @ 6:30 @ the church in town.

There will be no Relief Society Activity in December....We hope you will have a Happy Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and of course a Happy New Year!!

We will be having SUPER SATURDAY on October 9th from 10 to 2. Look for the display table near the Relief Society Room! Pictures to come soon!

Mother Daughter Ice Cream Social.
Bring your mother or your daughter and
join us for ice cream, pictures, picture frame craft,
Sugar hand scrub and fun.

Look for Samples for our Super Saturday which
will be October 9th 10am-2pm.
In conjunction with Super Saturday we will be making some items to
donate to the Festival of Trees to raise money for Primary Children’s Hospital.


Temple Day/ Night
Sept. 1st and August 6th at either 9 am or 6:30 pm at the Ogden Temple.
If you can’t make it to one of the times try to attend anytime that day.

Some sisters are going to the temple Wednesday morning at 9:30 am. Contact Michelle if you would like to carpool. The ward will be going that evening at 6:30 pm.

SUMMER FITNESS!!

Thursday May 20th @ 7:00 pm meet at the church to get a baseline on your pulse, blood pressure and time no walking/running a mile. We will focus this summer on improving our baseline. Look forward to walking/running groups, nutrition, health and fitness classes and lots of fun. ALL AGES ARE WELCOME. We will cumulate with a Ward 5 K run/walk

Book Club is being moved to the 4th Wednesday because of Stake Conflicts. This month it will be April 28th at 7pm at Debbie Jacobson's House. We are reading Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine.

For Creative Tuesday on 4/27/10 we will be starting a demin quilt. It is a very easy pattern. You can make it like a rag quilt or just a pieced quilt and tie it. I started tearing my two boxes of jeans into strips. So if you have jeans you have been saving for a quilt, lets get started.

SERVICE AUCTION!! We will be having a service auction on Wednesday April 14th 7:00 pm at the Church. Start thinking of service you would be willing to auction off!

GREETING CARD SWAP. We will be having our greeting card swap on Wednesday April 21st 7:00 pm at Jesenia Walkers house. If you would like to participate please call Brooke Larsen!

Play group is every Thursday from 10-11:30. Join us to let the kids play.

Book Club for March was rescheduled because of a Stake conflict. It will be
April 1st at Tiffany Daine’s Home 7pm. We are reading The Beekeepers apprentice by Laurie R. King.

Book Club for April will be the 4th Thursday at 7 pm at Michelle Capener’s home. We will be reading Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine.

Creative Tuesday will be the 4th Tuesday at Michelle Capener’s from 1-3pm. Project to be announced.

Visiting Teaching challenge for April. We are trying for 100 percent. If we are able to achieve it we will get a treat, to be determined. Suggestions for the treat are being accepted. If you don’t know who to visit or who visits you see Michelle or Nancy Hunsaker.

Relief Society Birthday Party

Thank you to all who helped us with the Birthday Party, it was a success!

This year for our Birthday Party we asked 5 sisters to dress up in the era of past a Relief Society Presidents. During dinner we had the 5 sisters rotate the tables and tell the sisters about their president and answer any questions asked. It was so fun to learn about our past presidents and how much they have done for us. The sisters loved the interaction as well!!
