Thank you to all who helped us with the Birthday Party, it was a success!

This year for our Birthday Party we asked 5 sisters to dress up in the era of past a Relief Society Presidents. During dinner we had the 5 sisters rotate the tables and tell the sisters about their president and answer any questions asked. January Relief Society News

We started off the month great with a Ward Humanitarian Night. We started sewing 100 bags for school kits. We have donations both money and items to fill the 100 bags. The fabric for the bags is left over from the Days for Girls stake Humanitarian project last summer. We had a great turn out and I think everyone had a good time.

Each Thursday we have our Play Group at the Church. We open the church from 10:00 am to 11:30 am and let the kids play in the Gym. A great time to let the kids run off some energy and for Moms to enjoy some adult company.

Our lesson for this Sunday January 24th will be from the Ensign. Preserving the Heart's Mighty Change by Dale G Renlund. Jennifer will be our discussion leader.

Book Club will be the 28th of January at 7 pm at Michelle's House. We are reading "The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie," by Alan Bradley. A very entertaining and well written murder mystery with the main character an 11 year old girl.

The 5th Sunday Lesson will focus on Visting and Home Teaching and will be combined with the Preisthood. Be sure to look for sign up sheets for Visiting Teaching Interviews.

Be sure to keep reading the Book of Mormon.
